Teeth So Bright

The use of light bulbs instead of actual teeth to show that Orbit gum brightens teeth, is a very clever idea.

Retro Cap'n Crunch

I saw this the other day when I was browsing through the cereal aisle trying to decide which one to get.I stopped when I saw this one, it caught my eye because the packaging has changed dramatically from the previous box design. I did a little research and found out that Cap'n Crunch was created during the 60s and the new box design is celebrating the cereal's origin. I thought the design tactic was very clever. Since the design went from something that has been around for a while to something that is not seen today very often it automatically draws the consumers' eye to the product. The design went from having a 3D effect to it to a flat 2D effect which makes it more noticeable as well. Two thumbs up for Retro Cap'n Crunch.

Some Sharp Knives

Wouldn't have to worry about these knives being dull. I'm not a hundred percent sure if this ad is selling the knifes or the block but I thought the overall design was very simple and straight forward with just the use of knives and the block with a very simple background. I also thought that the ad is eye catching due to the fact that knives normally sit upright in wooden blocks but in this piece the knives are placed some where else, which naturally draws the viewer's eye down the page. The quote at the bottom " For the sharpest knives" is small which forces the picture above to visually communicate that the knives are very sharp.
